Our Story

Firm History

The Law Offices of Jesse L. Pleet, P.C. was founded in 1994 by Jesse L. Pleet, an experienced attorney since 1981. The firm includes two attorneys, three paralegals, two legal secretaries, an account administrator, and a courier. The firm has chosen to "stay small" in order to continue to provide efficient, prompt and individualized service to all clients.

Areas of Concentration

The firm concentrates in personal injury, sexual harassment, discrimination claims, workers' compensation, insurance disputes and unemployment compensation as well as employment law, employment contracts and commercial litigation. The firm enjoys the role of being "the corporate trouble-shooter." As an instrument-rated private pilot with his own aircraft, Attorney Pleet is able to spontaneously service client needs beyond Berks County.

We also supervise litigation pending in other states for our clients. This includes hiring local counsel and consultants as necessary in order to coordinate the litigation support they need.

We are always available to meet with prospective clients to discuss their legal concerns. Call us toll-free anywhere in the United States at 1-800-270-8570 to discuss how we may be of service to you. If you prefer, you can also email us at lawyers@pleetfirm.com with your legal concerns and we will call you to discuss them further.

Legal Fees and Costs

Generally, personal injury, subrogation (insurance recoveries) and collections are handled on a percentage fee basis of the recovered amount, plus incidental costs. Other assignments would be handled on an hourly fee, flat fee or hybrid fee structure. An appropriate fee structure is tailored to meet the needs of clients.
